2-lb DENSITY EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE (EPS)
Also a lightweight foam, 2-lb EPS can be used for countless craft projects, and it's easy to work with. 2-lb EPS is most commonly used in Hot Tub covers because its unique closed-cell structure allows almost total resistance to moisture & water vapor and will not rot or attract fungi or mildew. Also, EPS has a superior R-value, so it will insulate and keep heat inside your Hot Tub.
NOTE: PLEASE test paints and glues before using them with all Polystyrene products. (Paints with rust inhibitor and glues with a high solvent content may melt Polystyrene.)
